Rhiannon Harkey, born in 2002, is an Irish-American artist with an emphasis in painting, whose work focuses on the intricacies of the divine feminine, along with fantastical worlds and beings. Harkey grew up in San Diego and has recieved her BFA at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles under the Presidential Scholarship. Harkey interprets the mythologies of Celtic heritage, centered around the beautiful, powerful, and influential women notable during their given time. Her connections to Celtic history and Irish myth are central to her work. She has presented work in the San Diego’s mayor's office, Intersect Gallery and received the Women Painters West Scholarship.
